Phillip Hernandez is a California-based photographer and creative director drawn to the ocean and the people and places shaped by it. Rooted in surf culture and shaped by more than a decade working with communities around the world, he brings a documentary eye and a traveler’s curiosity to every frame, chasing not just how a place looks but how it feels to be there. Through his studio, Photo Phil Productions, he creates imagery for surf, travel, hospitality, and lifestyle brands. Equally at home shooting from the water or leading a full production on land, Phillip makes images that capture the spirit of modern surf, leisure, and escape.
